This article is a follow up to the Casino Night Party Most Popular Decorations. The point of the articles is to help everyone know the most common and popular games for a casino night party. Then you can use them to either include them in your party (ie: not forgetting anything) or to NOT include them so that you keep the party very unique. Either way it's a good way to see what other games people are having without attending a huge amount of casino night parties (if that's even possible!).

Most Popular Casino Games
1) Roulette
Roulette is a game that gives you a chance to win big! As well, you can play with tons of chips and scatter them around the board feeling like a winner almost every time. This game is a little harder to run at a casino night because some people don't know how to play and giving out the chips is a little harder. However, you can make it easier on yourself and dealer by changing the odds as you wish.

2) Blackjack
Blackjack is one of the most popular games at a casino whether it's real or fake. The action and odds make this a favorite among gamblers. The added bonus of this game is that it's very easy to run and most people know how to play!

3) Poker
Ever since Chris Moneymaker won the world series from playing online poker has grown in popularity. The action and ability to 'read' people makes this a classic game at any casino. There are two drawbacks to this game at your casino night. First, the people playing poker usually get really into the game and will usually stop mingling around the party. Second, to make it run smoother you need a dealer and one who knows what they're doing. That being said this is a great game and if you don't have it at your party you might be surprised to find out an impromptu game happening!

4) Craps
This game is a super fun game that makes a lot of noise at a casino with people shouting and cheering. The thrill of the game is that when one person is doing good EVERYONE is winning! This game usually requires some explanation as most people won't have played this game. However, once they have it'll be the thrill of the party!

Roulette Wheel A Must At Any Casino Themed Night

The roulette wheel is one of the big highlights of any casino be it a casino themed party or a real Las Vegas casino. When hosting your own Casino Party you should definitely have a roulette wheel. Many casino themed parties opt not to have the roulette wheel as it's too much work, however, it's not and here's how you do it.

• Get a rotating dealer to work shifts
• Set the payouts to be simple
• Have everyone collect their own chips

Dealers
You will need dealers working tables at all your casino games. It doesn't matter if the dealer is working blackjack or roulette as they both need a dealer. Therefore, this should not be the largest drawback of having a roulette wheel. Your dealer will find that Roulette is actually not as complicated as it looks and being the dealer is not only fun but also quite entertaining.

Payouts
The payouts for roulette can often be very complicated with so many different options. The easiest way to keep things easy is to set your own payouts. Simply create the payouts as I've shown below (or some modification of below) then post it on the wall behind the dealer. Also, don't be afraid of setting the odds in the players favor. Roulette has one of the worst odds in a normal casino why have your players face those bad odds? Simply set it slightly better. Rather then 35-1 for an exact number set it to 40-1.

Chip Distribution
One of the biggest headaches of running a roulette table is trying to get all the chips sorted and back out to the players. You will notice
at a Las Vegas casino that the roulette table has at least 3 people working. At your casino you probably don't have this luxury. Instead get some of the players who are playing to help out by sorting their own chips. As the money is all fake you shouldn't worry too much about people taking money.

Blackjack - Rules, Supplies and Payouts

Blackjack is one of the simplest and funnest games to have at your casino themed party. You will definitely want a blackjack table (or two) at your casino as it usually ends up being one of the most popular games. This is because almost everyone knows blackjack so it's less intimidating and funner for some. This also works great for you because finding dealers who will volunteer to run Blackjack is much easier too!

Here are the basic rules in point form

• All players are dealt two cards (face up) and the dealer is dealt 1 card down and 1 card up.
• The sum of your cards is your point total where ace's are 1 or 11 and Jack, queen and king are considered a 10.
• The players are trying to beat the dealer
• The dealer must hit until he/she has something higher then 16.

  

• If the player wins he/she gets double their bet. Loses they lose their bet. If they get 21 off of their first two cards they get 1.5 to 1.

Those are the basic rules. If you are a blackjack aficionado my instructions are probably considered over simplified, however, you don't want your casino party night to be intimidating. It's best to keep things simple to help everyone out!

Blackjack Supplies

• 1 (or more) decks of cards. We recommend 3-6 as your dealer won't have to continually shuffle the deck. If you decide on one deck then purchasing a Playing Card Shuffler Each is an absolute must. The card shuffler really speeds up play so people don't get bored!
• Table Felts: Casino Game Layouts for Blackjack are a great way to make your game look and feel more realistic!



• Dealer: you will want 1 volunteer for each hour that the table will run.
• Card Shoe Each - The card shoe is where you put the cards for dealing. It's not needed but really adds that extra special blackjack touch!
• Chips for the dealer to payout to each player

Karaoke At A Casino Party

Karaoke is a super fun evening in itself. However, when you combine it with a casino themed party it can give people who are not gambling something to watch or do. It is also fun to have your Karaoke setup close enough to the "casino floor" that the people playing the casino games can hear the singers. The idea being that this is sorta like the lounge act at a real casino.

To run a Karaoke party room you will need a microphone, CD and player. The other alternative is to setup Rockband as the Karaoke machine. This is sometimes a cheaper alternative, however, it can start to detract on the casino theme of the party if too many people start playing drums and guitar. However, the best alternative is to buy a inexpensive portable karaoke machine which is a all-in-one system

Bingo At A Casino Party

Bingo is another great game to have at a casino themed party. Bingo is great because although it is a gambling game you can simply not charge people (fake money) to play and still give out prizes!

So what do you need for a successful bingo game at your casino party?

A Bingo Caller - You will need to find someone to run the game. This person has to decided which game people are playing and has to read the numbers out loud and keep track of what has been called.

Bingo Cards - These are the cards that are given out to the players in the game.

Bingo Daubers - Daubers are what is used to mark the cards. These are great to have at the party because they make it seem more realistic.

Bingo Bag or Pouch - This is a bag to hold all the numbers in a bag.

Small Prizes - It is also a great idea to have a few small prizes for the guests playing bingo. This can be anything from some small party favors to something a bit larger. I've also seen people give out tickets to the winner of each bingo game the winners are then entered into a prize draw for a larger prize.

Having Bingo at your casino party is a good way to have a fun interactive game. Although Bingo is not technically a casino game it is still a great game to include at your party as most people have played it at sometime or another.

Skill Stop Slot Machines

Skill Stop Slot Machines are those machines that are considered 'skillful'. However, the machines still run on luck and the use of the word skill is a bit confusing. The skill refers to the fact that the gambler (user) must stop the reels himself/herself. There are usually a button (or more) on the front which starts and stops the reels.

Most of the machines below are from Japan and are called Pachislo machines. They are used for 2 years in Japan and then must be replaced after 2 years even though they work completely fine. This is the law in Japan and many of these machines are brought over to North America.

At most casino themed parties the slot machine(s) was placed near then entrance to the party. Having the machine here really creates a fun casino themed atmosphere right when you're guests walk in the door. Not only will the lights be flashing and making noise but you can incorporate into the amount of money that person receives for the evening. Simply get them to 'pull to win' when they get in and if they win they win extra money for the night. It is also a great idea to have a small prize for anyone who can get the jackpot of the machine. The Basics Of The Casino Game Craps

Craps is probably the most complicated and entertaining game in the casino. If you have Craps at your casino themed party be sure that the 'dealer' has an idea of what they are doing. That being said, craps will definitely be one of the highlights for many of your guests as it's a fun and interactive game with lots of betting, talking and action!

Here are the basics of the game Craps. Please note that there are plenty more rules that could be discussed and included. However, for your casino themed party it is much simpler to stick to only a few rules and easier payouts. Also, be sure to buy a
Craps Game Layout as it'll make the casino look very cool. You can even setup a little 'backboard' for people to roll the dice to make it look really authentic!

The game is started by a player putting a bet on the come-out roll. The player rolls the dice and if he rolls a (7 or 11) he/she wins, (2,3 or 11) loses and (4,5,6,8,9 or 10) he/she gets a number. The player then continues to roll until he get the same number again and at that point he/she is a winner.

The game gets interesting in two ways
1) All the other players (although not rolling) they have the same come-out bet. Therefore, when the roller wins everyone wins!
2) Everyone can make additional bets on different numbers and dice combinations.

Here is a brief breakdown of the rules of craps.
Come Out Roll (pay 1-1)
Winner: 7 & 11
Loser: 2, 3 & 12
You get a point (or number): 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10

With a point (or number) (pay 1-1)
Loser: 7
Winner: The point (or number) you are trying to re-roll

Other Bets
Place Bets - You select the number (pay 1-1)
Winner: That number if rolled
Loser: 7

Field Line (pay 1-1)
Winner: 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12
Loser: 5, 6, 7, 8

The game of craps sounds complicated and difficult and is actually rather easy.
