Part of setting up your house or hall for a casino night party is setting up the room. Although this may seem like a trivial detail it can really help to get people to 'get in on the action'. Second, if you have a poker table it's best to put that game off to the side. Poker is a very attractive game at casinos and many people enjoy playing and watching and therein lies the problem. You see poker can actually drain the whole atmosphere of the party as lots of people take the game very seriously. When people take it seriously everyone gets quiet and even a bit stressed. It's much better to place this game off to the side to not kill the mood of the party.

Finally, if you're having non-gambling related games like karaoke or rock band have those games close enough to the action but not so close that people can't hear what's happening at the tables. You are trying to make this music the 'atmosphere' of the party and not the main event.
